Mag Ruffman

Mag Ruffman

Mag Ruffman is an actress, writer, and licensed building contractor. She began her career as a singer and dancer in musical theatre then moved to movies and television. She was cast as Alice Lawson in the movie "Anne of Green Gables" and Olivia Dale in the Emmy Award-winning CBC period drama "Road to Avonlea." Next, she swapped her corset for a tool belt to host five seasons of "A Repair to Remember," the Women’s Television Network’s popular and quirky show about home repair.

She is also the creator, host, writer, and producer of two other series: "Men On Women," a televised forum where women can ask men about relationship issues; and "Anything I Can Do," a workshop show in which Mag laughingly builds beautiful but functional pieces for home and garden. The two seasons of "Anything I Can Do" airs on over 40 PBS stations in North America. All of Mag’s shows continue to air in more than twenty countries all over the world.
