Mark believes that one person can make a difference! He is motivated to improve not only his company, but local, regional, national, and global communities as well.

This integrated approach has kept Mark attuned to issues of social consciousness and corporate responsibility. Mark was awarded TAPPI's Shibley Award for his work in composting primary and secondary sludge generated from Pacific Northwest Pulp and Paper facilities.

His 30-year career has brought management innovation to a broad range of related strategic and tactical issues including Resource Allocation and Optimization, Capital Preservation, Organizational Development, Environmental Stewardship and Corporate Responsibility, Entrepreneurship, and Community/Social Advocacy. Mark has spent several years providing high-level chemical management consulting, giving companies large and small visibility into toxicity and savings.

In his free time, Mark enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his family.
