Mary Olsen Kelly

Mary Olsen Kelly co-owns the Black Pearl Gallery fine jewelry stores in Hawaii with her husband, Don. After thirteen years in the pearl business, she is known as an expert in pearl sorting, grading, and lore. Kelly deals with enormous quantities of pearls annually, traveling to Tahiti to attend the pearl auctions, purchasing thousands of pearls at a time, overseeing their transformation into original jewelry creations, and selling them through her chain of eight fine jewelry stores.

Kelly holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theater and spent the first twenty years of her adult life working in the entertainment industry as an actress, writer, producer, and director of television, video, and theater. Kelly's second book, Finding Each Other: How to Attract Your Ideal Life Mate, led to numerous workshops and seminars based on the subject of romantic relationships.
