Steven Kaufman

Steven Kaufman, known amongst friends as a brainiac with an incessant curiosity, graduated with honors from Stanford University. He spent the first twenty years of his varied career with companies like Wang and Intel, tackling assignments in the US, Europe, and Asia. In 2000, he shifted lanes and became an entrepreneur and a consultant, helping to launch a high tech company that developed an automated route tracking system for the waste industry.

Working with garbage every day taught Steven and his co-author Norm LeMay that we all carry trash in our heads that gets in the way of our relationships, our jobs, and our dreams. By taking the basics of the trash business--the truck, the landfill, the can--Norm and Steven--the Disposal Dream TeamTM--developed a down-to-earth philosophy to toss that trash and go on to live an extraordinary life.
