Translating the Important Holistic Contributions of the Last 40 Years Into Patient Care
Bob Anderson, MD, graduated with honors from the University of Washington Medical School and has practiced family medicine in Washington since 1960. He is a founder of the American Holistic Medical Association as well as founder and past president of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. He is the author of many books and articles on holistic medicine and psychosynthesis.
He taught the Art of Family Medicine at Bastyr University for 21 years. He has taught hundreds of classes, workshops and seminars in stress management and complementary/holistic medicine in North America, Central America, Europe and New Zealand. Three of his recently published books are The Scientific Basis for Holistic Medicine (2004), Clinician’s Guide to Holistic Medicine (2001) and Stories of Healing (2011).
