This film is the second release of a documentary series initiated in 2009 by filmmakers Michael Stillwater and Doris Laesser Stillwater, seeking to uncover cross-cultural recognition of a universal vibration.
Their first release, Shining Night: A Portrait of Composer Morten Lauridsen, focuses on one man’s connection to ‘the Great Song’, and how his expression has inspired millions across the world. The film received four Best Documentary awards at festivals across the USA.
This current release highlights a panorama of viewpoints regarding the Great Song in art, faith, science, and traditional cultures. Song Wthout Borders, the production entity behind this documentary, uses film, music and educatonal programs to help people reconnect to their own expression of ‘the Great Song’.

Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq, shaman, healer, storyteller and carrier of the Qilaut (winddrum), is an Eskimo-Kalaallit Elder whose family belongs to the traditional healers from Kalaallit Nunaat, Greenland.
HORTENSE REINTJENS-ANWARI (Dr.phil.) is an Ethnologist with the speciality in Middle East Studies (Nomadism and Sufism) and also a Theologist, Dipl.-Theol. (Jewish Religion and Philosophy). She currently researches and delivers seminars in the field of Intercultural Philosophy and Spirituality.
ANGELES ARRIEN (c.1940 – 2014) was a cultural anthropologist, educator, award-winning author, and consultant to numerous organizations and businesses inside and outside the medical field. She lectured nationally and internationally and conducted workshops bridging cultural anthropology, psychology, and mediation skills on issues such as conflict resolution and multi-cultural issues.
