A Fun Self-help Film For a Happy Life

A new fun self-help film, The Secrets of the Keys, can help you to live a happier life. The film, which is officially being launched Tuesday, July 19, 2016 through Beyond Words Publishing, is neither a documentary nor a narrative drama. Instead, it’s a hybrid that offers a fictional story that features characters dealing with a desperate situation. They encounter experts who offer deeply personal stories to help them overcome challenges, gain greater understanding about life, and find solutions. Writer/Producer Robin Jay worked with each of the experts to draw out stories that, in many cases, they’d never before shared with anyone before.  And, thanks to the narrative story, the film is first and foremost fun, unlike other films in the self-help genre. The result is an empowering, uplifting, and inspirational film that offers authentic how-to advice for living a better, more fulfilling, and happier life.

How a Self-help Film Can be Fun and Transformative

From relationships to work to family, the heartfelt advice and private stories that the experts reveal in the film are sure to transform viewers. They will open their minds to the unlimited potential for improving every aspect of their lives. In the film, we meet Elizabeth, played by Jay, who has just heard from her doctor that she is not going to live much longer. In a story that is reminiscent of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, she finds herself on a journey of sorts where she encounters a diverse group of experts anxious to help her through this difficult time. She also meets her spiritual guide Gwen, played brilliantly by Kathryn Brinkley, and Gwen’s apprentice Goldie, a sweet yet somewhat ditzy blonde who would do nearly anything to become a spiritual guide. Gwen has a job opportunity for Elizabeth and the experts are eager to convince her to accept it.

Fun Self-help Film Features Notable Personal Development Experts

This fun self-help film features a cast of experts includes such notables as Brian Tracy, John Assaraf, Dannion Brinkley, don Miguel Ruiz, Rev. Michael Beckwith, and Gloria Loring, along with other outstanding experts from around the world. The result is a magical journey that will make you laugh and leave you feeling inspired and empowered. The stories that the experts share revolve around 7 Keys: Appreciation, Harmony, Passion, Courage, Faith, Vibration, and Empathy.

Each of these keys–or principles–are integral to our everyday happiness and our ability to live a better, more fulfilling life. Jay, who is also the Founder and President of the Las Vegas Convention Speakers Bureau, shares that working with the world’s finest speakers and thought leaders helped her to discover the very best experts for her film. Viewers are blown away by the powerful impact the film offers:

“We all want to thrive and much of what we need to better understand and implement in our lives to make that happen is hidden right in plain sight.  The Secrets of the Keys illuminates those things beautifully, in an easy to understand and  enjoyable way. Because I feel strongly that everyone deserves to live the fullest life possible, I’m encouraging everyone I know to see this film. In fact there are so many great insights, I’m going to watch it frequently to give myself time to fully internalize and apply all of them. Not since What the Bleep has a film had this much impact on my view of the word.” – Kristen Becker, IamKristenBecker.com.

"Oh My God–I just finished watching your film and I absolutely love the wisdom that poured out of every minute of it! The personal stories of the teachers are interesting and have twists and turns that shed light on all of the keys. Chains of stories create a tapestry of light that we can all learn from. It’s a dance of the keys and how they work together. Mind blowing—so much information. I love it! Kudos to Writer/Producer Robin Jay. She has created a mass work of art. This film take away for me–and I’ve studied a lot of spiritual topics and consider myself a very spiritual person—is that I am no longer afraid of death. Do you know what a gift this film has given me?! It’s a beautiful, beautiful film. I am so impressed. I am a huge fan of What the Bleep Do We Know. Similarly, this film is unique and presents information in such an elegant, gentle and eloquent way that I know it is going to touch a lot of people. My last thought on the film is that I love the story of the eternity of the human spirit." – Lisa Barr, Writer, Specializing in Addiction, Mental Health, and Trauma Issues.

“Similar toThe Secret but with more depth. This movie introduces (or refreshes, depending on where you are in your spiritual journey) concepts of positive energy, limitless possibilities, and how we all play a part in creating our experience in this life. Experts in the human consciousness movement, including such luminaries as the Reverend Michael Beckwith, John Assaraf, and Don Miguel Ruiz contribute timeless wisdom relevant to everyone, regardless of their circumstances. Beautifully produced, this film is a joy to watch and will leave you transformed.” – Ingrid King consciouscat.net, @consciouscats, The Conscious Cat on FB
